I am an addict,
She is my drug.
Her smiles light my day,
But they are not meant for me.
The glint in her eyes,
The crooked, mischievous smile.
They they speak of desires,
Not sparked by thought of me.
Still i watch, still I crave.
The lie I tell myself everyday,
The fantasy in my mind.
But my heart knows the truth,
And whispers in the dark night.
