Added 2021-01-13 07:20:00 +0000 UTCELF ASHE FROM OVERWATCH PROGRESS For the candy cane earrings, I decided to use foam clay. The material is light and easy to mold, so they’re perfect for earrings. I put a wire with a plated end in each of the candy cane pieces once I’ve formed them and a circular piece through the top to properly seal the plated end into the candy cane. Once they dried, I covered them in PVA glue to give them some hardness without too much added weight. After the glue set, I painted the red and white stripes onto them with acrylic paint. Once the paint was dried, I trimmed the wire and wrapped them into the loop on my earring studs.
